CorpXconnect is a community for NYSC corps members to connect, share, and support each other. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone.

Child Safety & Protection

ZERO-TOLERANCE for child abuse

CorpXconnect has a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and age-appropriate environment for all users.

Our platform is designed exclusively for adults (18 years and older) and is strictly intended for NYSC corps members and prospective corps members. We do not knowingly collect, store, or share any information from minors.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Absolutely prohibited. Any content depicting or describing child sexual abuse is strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities.
Sexual Exploitation of Minors: Any form of grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited.
Child Endangerment: Any content that could endanger the safety or well-being of minors is prohibited.
Inappropriate Interactions: Any interaction with minors for inappropriate or sexual purposes is strictly forbidden.

Our Commitment

Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or harms minors.
Immediate Action: Any reported violations involving child safety will be immediately investigated and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Permanent Ban: Any user found to be in violation of these policies will be permanently banned from our platform.
Age Verification: We require users to verify they are 18 years or older before accessing our platform.
Content Moderation: We employ automated tools and human moderators to detect and remove harmful content.

🚨 Reporting Child Safety Violations

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates child safety guidelines, please report it immediately by:

Using the in-app Report feature on the post or user profile
Emailing us directly at: safety@corpxconnect.com
Contacting the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org
Contacting the Nigerian Police Force or your local law enforcement agency

All reports are treated with the highest priority and confidentiality.

CorpXconnect complies with all applicable laws regarding child protection, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Nigerian Child Rights Act (2003).

Report Issues: Use the report feature if you see content that violates guidelines.
Give Constructive Feedback: Provide helpful advice in a respectful manner.

Don'ts ❌

No Harassment: Don't bully, threaten, or harass other members.
No Hate Speech: Racism, sexism, tribalism, and other forms of discrimination are prohibited.
No Misinformation: Don't spread false information about NYSC or other corps members.
No Spam: Don't post promotional content without prior approval.
No Impersonation: Don't pretend to be someone else, especially NYSC officials.
No Inappropriate Content: Don't post NSFW, violent, or disturbing content.
No Child Exploitation: Any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

Content Guidelines

Posts and Comments

Share NYSC-related experiences, tips, and advice.
Be honest but respectful when sharing opinions.
Think before posting - content that could harm or offend others will be removed.

Direct Messages

Be respectful in private conversations.
Report any harassment or inappropriate behavior in DMs.
You can block or mute users who are making you uncomfortable.

Photos and Media

Only post photos you own or have permission to share.
Don't share explicit or violent imagery.
Respect others' privacy - don't share photos without consent.
Never share or request explicit images of minors.

Reporting and Consequences

If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the report feature. Our team will review and take appropriate action.

First violation: Warning
Second violation: Temporary suspension
Severe or repeated violations: Permanent ban
Child safety violations: Immediate permanent ban + reported to authorities

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you can appeal by contacting us at appeals@corpxconnect.com.
